These decisions usually involve a lot of ambiguity. PMs have to rely on their intuition when making them.

Since it’s not enough by itself, some PMs say data matters only on a tactical level. But that’s a mistake.

Data provides the feedback loop that helps to develop intuition. This intuition dramatically improves the quality of decisions where data alone won’t suggest the right path. And these are usually the most important and critical decisions in product management.
